Golf Tournaments at the Beaver Island Golf Course are a hallmark of summer on Beaver Island.
Summer tournaments include the annual Fourth of July event, this year being held on July 3, so as to not conflict with the many Fourth activities. The ‘shotgun’ start for the 5-person teams will be an early 9:00 am. As usual, this is a scramble format event. Entry fees this year are $20 for members and $38 for nonmembers who sign up prior to June 20. After that it will be $25 for members and $43 for nonmembers. Lunch will be provided after the tournament and each participant will receive a T-shirt. Prizes will be awarded for each hole. The annual Ladies Tournament, a four-person scramble, will be held July 21 with a registration deadline of July 14. The registration fee is $15.00 (plus green fee for non-members).
