Golf Tournaments at the Beaver Island Golf Course are a hallmark of summer on Beaver Island.

Summer tournaments include the annual Fourth of July Tournament, the Ladies Tournament on July 18, and the Jerry Sowa Outing on July 31.

Tees: Men #1, 3, 5, 7, 9; Women #2, 4, 6, 8

Like last year, we will have a shotgun start at 1:30 p.m.. All putts must be holed out and whiffs count as a stroke. If a player wiffs their partner must then hit the next shot. To enter, please sign your team up on the sheet in the clubhouse or call the golf course at 448-2301 or call Buck at 448-2680.

LADIES TOURNAMENT
SATURDAY, JULY 18, 2009 at 8:30 a.m.

Dust off your putters, practice your swing, and get ready for the Sixteenth Annual Beaver Island Ladies’ Golf Tournament! Women golfers of all abilities are urged to sign up for this fun event, which includes a nine hole, best-ball competition, followed by a putting contest and a delicious buffet luncheon.
The tournament will be held on Saturday, July 18th at the Beaver Island Golf Club. It will begin with a shotgun start, with the cannon firing, at 9 o'clock sharp. Participants should be at the course by 8:30 AM. Teams of four will play the best ball on each shot. Winning teams will be awarded trophies, and everyone will take home a prize.

Registration forms are available at the Golf Club. The registration fee, including luncheon under the tent, is $20 per person. Golfers may register in a team of four or as individually and be placed on a team by the tournament organizers.
